Introduction

Rate My ASVAB was created as an aid for looking up every military job available just by simply entering in your ASVAB standard scores. What sets us apart is our ability to calculate every branch's composite scores, and add them up to determine if your scores meet the minimum or not, all done once you click "Save".

Our Story

Recruiters will know that going through military instructions and manuals adding up ASVAB scores line by line trying to find the jobs their recruits qualify for can be a pain. This project was created to alleviate some of that burden.

ASVAB General Information

The ASVAB is broken down into 10 standard scores. These standard scores are used to calculate composite scores which are specific to each branch except the coast guard and navy which share the same composite scores.

The test given in high school does not give an Assembling Objects or Verbal Expression score. Assembling Objects has been mostly phased out, the navy and coast guard are the only branches which even use it and they have alternative requirements allowing a zero entry for AO. Verbal Expression(VE) can be approximated without entry and if the score is left blank when submitted it will be calculated.
